Tip: Works in any modern browser - no downloads or account needed.
In the type selector, find and click on "SMS". This creates a QR code that opens the messaging app with your number and optional message pre-filled.
Tip: SMS QR codes use the sms: protocol, which works on all smartphones.
Type the phone number where you want to receive text messages. Include the country code for international compatibility (e.g., +1 for US).
Tip: Always include the country code to ensure the QR code works worldwide.
Enter a message that will appear in the text field when users scan. This makes it easy for them to send with one tap or modify before sending.
Tip: Keep messages short - SMS has character limits and users may want to add their own text.
Click the "Style" tab to customize colors, dot patterns, and add your logo. Match your brand colors for professional materials.
Tip: Ensure high contrast between foreground and background for reliable scanning.
Scan the preview QR code with your phone. Your messaging app should open with the phone number and message ready. Send a test message to verify.
Tip: Test on both iPhone (iMessage) and Android (Messages) if possible.
Click Download and select your format. Use SVG for print materials and PNG for digital use. Choose an appropriate size for your needs.
