Step-by-Step Instructions

Create Your QR Code

First, create your QR code using any type: URL, WiFi, vCard, Email, SMS, Phone, Location, Social, or Text. Customize the style, colors, and optionally add a logo.

Tip: The download process is the same for all QR code types.

Preview and Test

Before downloading, scan the preview QR code with your phone to make sure it works correctly. This is the most important step - verify your content is correct.

Tip: Always test before downloading. Reprinting is expensive!

Click the Download Button

Once you're happy with your QR code, click the "Download" button. A dialog will appear with format options and size settings.

Tip: The download button is usually located below the QR code preview.

Choose Your Format

Select the file format based on your use case. SVG for print (scales perfectly), PNG for web/digital, PDF for documents. Each format has specific advantages.

Tip: When in doubt, download both SVG and PNG to cover all use cases.

Select Size (if applicable)

For PNG format, choose the appropriate size. Larger sizes are better for print, smaller sizes for web use. SVG and PDF scale infinitely without losing quality.

Tip: For print, aim for at least 300 DPI at your final print size.

Download and Save

Click the download button for your chosen format. The file will download to your default downloads folder. Rename it something descriptive for easy identification.

Tip: Rename files descriptively: "wifi-qr-office.svg" is better than "qr-code.svg".
